Advertising and sponsorship
FreelanceAdvisor.co.uk, the advice and networking website for freelancers and contractors, launched with the aim of uniting the UK’s surging community of self-employed as growing uncertainty forces people to look at their skillsets and consider working for themselves.
The website makes its debut as official Government figures released late last year show that unemployment has reached an 11-year high – the number of people out of work in the UK in the three months to September rose by 140,000 to 1.82 million. Economists claim this number could top two million early next year – leading to an inevitable rise in the number of freelancers and contractors.
According to recent research carried out by trade body the Professional Contractors Group (PCG), there are currently 1.4 million people freelancing in the UK.

Reaching the very heart of the freelance community, written by people ‘on the ground’,
Freelance Advisor isn’t just another Freelance / Contracting site simply put together to sell advertising. This is a genuine site to help the community. Through personal contributions from the Directors at Crunch, who feel passionate about helping this vibrant and thriving community, a small amount of advertising will be allowed to cover the costs of this site. These are specifically chosen partners that offer products and services that will truly help the freelancers, contractors and consultants in our community.
We’re keen to point out that this isn’t ordinary advertising but a chance to work with the community at a far greater level than simply stick an advert up.
If you are looking for a deeper collaboration, we’d welcome you look into sponsoring Freelance Advisor.
Full column and 1/2 column adverts
There are 2 sizes of adverts, offered as ‘half width’, the size shown in the illustration below and full width. The examples depicted in the screenshot are half width ‘Lloyds TSB’ and ‘Business Link’ adverts.
