Judy Heminsley

Judy Heminsley is a passionate advocate of working from home, having done so for more than 20 years. She started, grew and eventually sold on a cleaning business from her back bedroom and was later employed as a home-based business adviser to SMEs. Her book Work from Home is published by How To Books and is a friendly, down-to-earth guide on tackling the challenges of home working and getting the best from its undoubted benefits. She speaks to groups and works one-to-one over the phone with home workers to help with issues like procrastination, isolation and productivity.

Judy has been excited about the possibilities of coworking for freelancers and home workers ever since she discovered it on Twitter. She organises regular Jelly coworking events in Frome, Somerset, and her website www.workfromhomewisdom.com provides comprehensive information about coworking and how to start your own Jelly, as well as many other aspects of home working.
