Fed up of years of corporate politics, Darren Fell decided to risk it all on building a top UK digital marketing agency, from scratch and with no investment.

Fast forward six years and Pure has a team of 40. Its customer base has grown to 700 across three divisions; Small Business, Agency and Major Accounts. Levi’s, innocent drinks, Financial Times and Rightmove are clients.

With further expansion into Europe and floating on the AIM stock market planned, Darren has done what he set out to achieve.

Lured back into his entrepreneurial ways, Darren was approached by 2 partners with the idea to create an accounting system specifically for contractors and freelancers.

In the setup process of the new business to be call crunch.co.uk, Darren decided to be a freelancer to the business and gain the many advantages this way of working offers.

Darren brings a considerable skill set in marketing having built up Pure and will support Paul Silver in the articles, information and podcasts he does in the marketing and networking arena.
