Michael Rose – Web Editor
Michael graduated with a degree in journalism from City University, London, just as the world-wide-web was in its infancy. Before that he was a keen bulletin-board user and remembers his 8-bit browser and 9400bps connection fondly.
He left university at the beginning of the dot com boom, and began working for AOL & Netscape and later freelancing for FT.com, BT and the BBC. Making electronic hay while the digital sun shone brightly over West London Michael went freelance as the dot com bubble burst - just about the worst choice he could have made in retrospect.
Now in Brighton, Michael has worked freelance for T3 magazine and now enjoys a 9-5 existence at Study Group while he freelances on projects including a website for his philosophical salon and a friend’s textile-art publishing company.
