One of the speakers in the last clip talks about the concept of reverse offshoring - companies outside UK using freelancers based in the UK. He says it's a trend increasing right now.

Not one of the speakers is addressing what is happening right now. I could be amazinly eloquent about the future in 2020 but, it is right now that needs the attention.
So, what is it that I am eluding to ICTs (Intra Company Transfers). ICT's are killing off IBM based skills in the UK. IBM based skills are used by all the large companies. These large financial companies are NOT outsourcing to freelancers in the UK!! Instead they are outsourcing to their own IT departments outside of the EU. The newest twist is for these large financial companies to bring in some of these non EU workers into the UK via ICT's ! 35,000 non EU workers brought into the UK last year in IT alone!!
Lets look after our local skills base first.
