I’ve long advocated Dropbox as the absolute best file-sharing tool for Freelancers, Contractors and just about anyone who needs to backup their important work files and share content across multiple machines or locations. But the best of the best has just added a killer new feature.
This week the Dropbox team announced via their forums that they’re adding a ‘Share any file’ option, allowing you to link directly to anything in your Dropbox. Now you can email, tweet or blog any file without mucking about with FTP or file-sharing sites.
And if you now no longer need to ask your clients to get a Dropbox themselves, if you want to quickly share a file with them you can just save it in your DropBox, right-click and select ‘Get Sharable Link.’:
