The idea behind the site is to create a professional online community where designers and visual creatives offer feedback on the design projects of others. It’s particularly useful for freelancers who are not in a position to gather feedback from their own personal sources.
As it is a community site, you’re encouraged to offer feedback as well as received it. In fact, in order to take advantage of the free membership account, you need to post 5 reviews to earn the right to post a concept of your own. Alternatively, for an immediate project post, you can pay $10 for the privilege. At the higher end, the ‘professional’ service is $50 for a single post, with the advantage being a minimum number of reviews guaranteed and exposure on the homepage among other things.
The great thing about Concept Feedback is that the pricing points are clear and the website as a whole is easy to peruse. And of course, because you have no personal affiliation with those who are offering/receiving the reviews, it makes honest and constructive opinion forming that much easier.
There are other resources which do a similar job (such as Notable, Feedback Army and UserVoice), but Concept Feedback is a very good cost-effective option.
