Cable identification is a strangely satisfying thing.

I've got a Brother label printer and although it takes a bit of time
to do (like backup) it save a lot of hassle (and pain) later.

I've got every electrical item in my office labelled, all plugs have
the name of the device, and it doesn't take any thinking when you need
    to quickly plug or unplug.
