In response to iPhone User's comment, I am far from writing off the iPhone. In fact, I have a lot of love for what it's attempting to do. My only criticism is the limitation of some of it's functionality, namely the shockingly low-res camera and painfully small hard drive space. There are, of course, a few software bugs, and that I can live with as it's an inevitable part of developing a whole new OS. As I say, once the glitches are ironed out and there's a good 80Gb of storage and at least a 5 megapixel camera, I'm in.

And yes, Michael, it would be nice if it weren't with o2...

As for how much time I spent with the Storm, I was able (by the grace of God, I swear) to get one in my hands for 4 days, in which time I used it as my main phone, so I got to know it pretty well. I loved it for the 'office environment' and the OS is exceedingly polished, but the Sony is definitely my favourite of the 3.

I agree, in terms of email and sync, it's great, especially if you use Gmail over IMAP. I found it flawless, and the applications are fantastic.

But the iPhone is just too expensive and the O2 contract lock in is really painful too... If I weren't a loyal Orange customer I'd probably go for it but at the moment I'm much happier with the combination of a classic reliable Nokia for calls and texts and an iPod touch for Wifi browsing and other fun.

I own an iphone and have to agree to an extent. There are a few bugs and things that let it down. For a pure gadget it's fine, but the things like not allowing applications to run in the background really lets it down. I also have a lot of problems with 02's signal and often on the lowest mobile signal not to mention that even in the same room as my wireless router it often drops the signal requiring a few restarts to connect and keep it again. The iphone is a great piece of kit, but only as a gadget to have, not for business functions. But the email application and sync for back-up purposes are the best I've seen on a gadget.

Seems a sweeping statement to write off one of the worlds fastest selling business phones due to a couple of bugs. I question how much testing the review has done on the Storm in order to achieve a true comparison.
