Thanks Dan.

The spirit of this post, and David's book, was really about GTD itself being 'implementation neutral'.

The GTD community is large and everyone has their favourite tool/s, there are whole blogs about the tools.

Personally I could go on for hours about how OmniFocus for Mac is the ultimate tool for GTD but that's beside the point, I wanted to draw peoples attention to the methodology itself which, as you know, can be done with a pen and a piece of paper and a small filing system.

I wouldn't recommend any one particular toolset, instead I'd recommend that people read the books and really get a grip on the core principles before investing in anything that'll magically make them more productive. I'm sure you'd agree?

For implementing GTD you can use this web-based application:

Gtdagenda

You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, schedules and a calendar.
A mobile version is available too.
