Thanks a lot for this article, I was really happy to read it! Frankly speaking, I have never heard before about the Pomodoro technique (maybe because I just dont like very much all that time-management techniques and seldom read on this topic), but I was very excited when I learnt about the Pomodoro technique from this post. Ive looked through the official site of the Pomodoro and downloaded the book about it. I will definitely give it a try next week. I believe it will greatly improve my efficiency.

Thanks Jake, that's great. I've just installed it and it looks very
simple, just sitting at the top with the time running down. A really
simple timer.

I use Pomodoro App for Mac - http://pomodoro.ugolandini.com/ as it
allows you to add descriptions of the task before you begin
(http://pomodoro.ugolandini.com/files/stacks_ima...) which is
ideal for recording work done.
