You’ll have to be quick to get your voice heard in a major survey of freelancers and contractors in the UK. It’s a good opportunity to offer your views on the state of freelancing, your hopes and fears for the future, and much more besides.
The survey should only take ten minutes and closes this Friday (5th November).
PCG has teamed up with ComRes, one of the nation’s leading research companies to contact freelancers from Aberdeen to Abergavenny and business leaders from Glossop to Gloucester.
* They want to know what freelance workers think about their future, what skills they bring to the work place; what they believe their clients value; what motivates them and whether they are confident about the future and their role in the UK economy.
* They want to know from the business community their view of the contribution of freelance workers; the sectors where there is growth; why they use freelancers; the qualities and skills freelancers bring to their workplace; the future role of freelancers in their sector.
ComRes have directly contacted over 20,000 PCG members and 500 client businesses to ensure as many of the UK’s 1.4 million freelancers as possible have their voice heard.
If you are a UK based freelancer, contractor, consultant, interim or other independent worker, you can complete the Freelance Survey here.
Alternatively, if you are a business in the UK who uses freelancers, contractors, consultants, interims or other independent workers, you can complete the Freelance Client Survey here.
The survey is being undertaken in the run-up to National Freelancers Day on November 23 when the results will be revealed. Will it paint a picture of freelance optimism or a portrait of flexi-worker gloom? Get your paintbrush out and add your distinctive palette to the mix. Metaphorically speaking.
