The latest installment of the HMRC’s Start Up Diaries is now available to view online, offering freelancers, contractors and small business owners a unique insider’s view into setting up and running a new business.
The new episode, ‘one year on’, features three entrepreneurs the HMRC has been following and they each take some time to look back on the twelve months since they first appeared on the site.
Ruth discusses the highlights of her year, which include winning a ‘Women of the Future’ award, while Nick is excited about the publication of his first book after the difficulties of his first few months. Meanwhile, Hannah discusses juggling work as a freelancer with a young child and the possibility of relocating her business somewhere more rural.
